Meet Matt.

Matt Barwick is a Product Designer from Alberta, Canada and has been since 2018. Before that, he was acquiring what his therapist has coined 'rich lived experience'.

He's sold cars, professionally golfed, ran an IT support call center, been a student of four different post-secondary institutions — even graduating from two of them (!!!) — and has been in more client-facing roles than Arya Stark.

As a professional designer, he's worked for software shops, design agencies, and dabbled in freelancing. His work has helped land custom software business, increased web traffic, improved retention, helped sunset legacy systems, and is most recently helping the Government of Alberta give thousands of people more money every year.

Today, when he's not designing, he's probably thinking about designing. Or hanging out with his wonderful partner and their two beautiful cats. Or wishing he read more. He could always read more.
